McKernan Desiree Stole

McKernan Woollen Mills have been crafting scarves since 1995, in Co Clare. This beautiful bubble scarf is handwoven using a 19th century loom. Soft to the touch and woven with multiple colours. These scarves are something special as they are unique in style and produce with a lot of work by hand on one of the only such looms in the country. Made from 100% wool.

A bold rose design with real presence. Knitted using our birdseye technique, where 3 base colours combine to build a rich texture and palette to create depth and shading.

Knitted in a generous halfround shape, it wraps, knots and drapes with ease, equally at home over a coat or thrown on with a simple jumper.

100% superfine merino wool, knitted at our mill in Tuamgraney, Ireland.
